The instructor will meet you at the back gate of the San Diego County Ruffin Road Annex Building

To Your Riding Session, Please Bring:
The riding range is an isolated, large parking lot. A clean Porta-John is available.
For your comfort, you may bring water, snacks, sunscreen, etc. to the range.

Usually the gates into the main compound are closed on the weekends.

-From the I-15 head West on Clairemont Mesa Blvd towards Ruffin Road,
or,
-From the I-805 or the 163 head East on Clairemont Mesa Blvd towards Ruffin Road.
At the major intersection of Ruffin Road and Clairemont Mesa Blvd., turn south onto Ruffin Road.
At the first traffic light, turn left onto Ruffin Court.
Travel several hundred feet on Ruffin Court, to the end of the long building, and turn left into the first driveway.
Wait in this small parking/waiting area.
The wooden/brown sign at this driveway says, 'RUFFIN ROAD ANNEX'.
(There also is a green sign that says, 'Law Enforcement Intake'.)

An instructor will open the gate at the scheduled time.
Please be patient. Wait there by the building and outside the (closed) black gate.
Park in a parking spot.
At the assigned time, an instructor will meet you in this small parking area.
The instructor will open the gate. Please follow the instructor's directions.
After you follow the instructor in and park,
walk to the picnic tables under the green canopies.
Bring your gear and any other items you may need. Other courses may be already in progress.
Please be courteous.

Participation in our course requires physical stamina, motor coordination, and mental alertness.
It is assumed that you can already balance and ride a bicycle. Arrive prepared.
Due to the nature of our course, we are unable to accommodate student guests or observers.
Please be sure to turn off cell phones and pagers while your session is in progress. Thank you.
Please be on time for each session you schedule.
Due to the structure of the curriculum and liability constraints, if you are late, we are not allowed to let you join your class.
Rescheduling and missed Riding Sessions:
If you need to reschedule, please try to reschedule by the Friday before your riding session.
If you reschedule or cancel your reservation by the Friday before your riding session, there are no fees.
A $45 reschedule fee will apply if you are unable to attend or reschedule after the Friday before your riding session.
We are unable refund your full tuition unless cancellation is made one (1) day prior to the riding session.
Rain: We conduct sessions in the rain. The on-site instructor may delay or cancel as appropriate.
Students under 18: You and your parent or legal guardian must sign the waiver and indemnification forms before you can join the class.
We accept most credit/debit cards. The tuition is $98 per session.
Prepaid Reservations recommended.
