Whether you are just starting and want to learn to ride, or have ridden before, we have practice sessions for you. We have been teaching people to reduce their risk and have fun while learning to ride at our school for over 25 years.

San Diego Motorcycle Training safety instruction is specifically designed to help eliminate the unnecessary risks of motorcycle riding! We encourage you to embrace and enjoy your beginners time. If you choose to continue to your learners time, we encourage you to embrace and enjoy your learners time.

"Our goal is to provide you with the basic physical skill and knowledge so you can make informed choices throughout your motorcycling journey. During the training you will learn to identify and eliminate unnecessary risks associated with riding and learning to ride motorcycles".

begin2ride was developed for the crucial Beginners Time.

We know that operating a motorcycle on the street is a high risk activity when compared to operating other vehicles. We can reduce some of the risks, and we have complete control over eliminating the unnecessary risks! All sports we participate in have risks. The first step to motorcycle safety is to recognize the different periods of your motorcycling journey. There is the Beginner's Time, the Learner's Time, and the Ongoing Rider's Time.

San Diego Motorcycle Training offers two programs: begin2ride and continue2ride

Begin2ride is the: pre-Motorcycle Safety Foundation (MSF), pre- Basic Rider Course (BRC), pre-Riders Edge; pre- DMV motorcycle license and pre- CHP course. The begin2ride motorcycle safety course is for people preparing for their Learners Time!

Continue2ride incorporates street skills that will be applied to everyday riding and includes a rental program which allows you to take home a 250cc motorcycle to practice the skills you learned from the previous sessions in a real world environment, your neighborhood!
