  About Us

The decade of the 1990s was a watershed time for motorcycle training experiences and motorcycle studies. National Motorcycle Training applied these training experiences and studies to create the begin2ride and continue2ride programs. We conducted our first independent motorcycle safety training in July of 2001.

Motorcycle training has been in continuous operation here at the San Diego County facility since 1979, making us the oldest continuously operated motorcycle training school in the nation.

Our programs have been developed to reduce the unnecessary mishaps involved in learning about, and enjoying motorcycles. Our training specifically reduces participants chances of mishaps in their beginners time (begin2ride program) and their learners time (continue2ride program). Being able to rent the bike that one has learned on has been a great help in lowering the risk of the first few rides on the street. Although still risky, our students have been well prepared to eliminate the unnecessary risks while riding.

All our curriculum is open source and free to copy and distribute. We invite you to explore our website and our motorcycle training curriculum, and find ways that can help you increase your enjoyment and reduce your risk while on your journey.
